A friction fit connection that requires the clinician to insert the tip of the syringe into the needle hub or other attaching device in a push and twist manner. This twist will ensure a secure connection that is less likely to detach.
Historically used to deliver the TB antigen test, Tuberculin syringes are typically 1ml size, and used to deliver very small amounts of medication accurately, through a needle. The GBUK Tuberculin syringe features a dead space reducing spigot in the tip, for extra accuracy.
